「YukAI English Club」の高校生6名と先生2名が当校を訪れ、
素敵な特別授業をしてくれました。 高校生たちが自ら制作したクメール語・英語・日本語の絵本
『What makes you happy？』の読み聞かせです。
生徒たちも身を乗り出して絵本の世界に入り込み、一緒に笑い、考える最高の時間となりました。
プログラムの後半には、ワクワクするビンゴゲームも待っていました。
ルールを教わりながら一緒に手を動かし、気がつけばみんな笑顔で英単語をリピートしています。
遊び心たっぷりのアプローチのおかげで、勉強であることを忘れてしまうくらい、楽しく英語に親しむことができました。
日本語を学んでいる中学生にとっても、同世代のネイティブスピーカーと直接お話しできる最高のチャンスとなりました！ 日本の高校生たちが優しく耳を傾け、積極的にコミュニケーションをとってくれたおかげで、会話が弾んでいました。
プログラムの後は、みんなで地元のレストランへ移動してランチタイム！
カンボジアの先生たちと日本の高校生たちが隣り合って座り、言葉や文化の壁を感じさせないとびきりの笑顔を見せてくれました。
訪問の記念にと、日本の高校生たちから素敵な寄せ書きをいただきました。
書かれている温かい言葉たちを一つひとつ英訳してカンボジアの生徒や先生たちに届けると、みんな大喜び！
言葉の壁を越えて、彼らの優しい想いがしっかりとカンボジアの教室に伝わりました。
